This is your desktop assignment.  You are going to create your own desktop background.  You may use this background for the rest of the semester.  The desktop picture you create must be school appropriate.  You may use the websites at the bottom for pictures.

Some pictures that you import into Paint.NET may be to large.  Check your canvas size and keep it set to width 800 and height 600.  The canvas is the size of the picture.

Your grade will be made up by how creative and inventive your desktop is.  Make an excellent desktop. 

• Student names must be on it.

• Period Number

• Your Desktop has to have a WOW factor.  (Something exceptional)

Here is how you place the background on your computer.

1. Click File.

2. Click Save.

3. In the file type change it to jpg. 

4. Look at the file name and remember what the file name is.

5. Click Save.

6. Navigate to the file.  It should be in "My Pictures."

7. Right click on the picture.

8. Click Set as background image.
