Building the Chess Board

  1. Go into top view.

  2. Go into object mode.

  3. Click >Add >Mesh >Plane. 

  4. Press Shift D KEY.

  5. Hold down the Ctrl KEY and move the plane over 2 units. 

  6. Press The A KEY twice so all planes are selected.

  7. Press Shift D.

  8. Hold the Ctrl KEY and move your planes. 

  9. Press The A KEY twice so all planes are selected.

  10. Press Shift D.

  11. Hold the Ctrl KEY and move the planes.

  12. Press The A KEY twice so all planes are selected.

  13. Press Shift D.

  14. Hold the Ctrl KEY and move the planes. 

  15. Press The A KEY twice so all planes are selected.

  16. Press Shift D.

  17. Hold the Ctrl KEY and move the planes. 

  18. Go into Object Mode.

  19. Click >Add >Mesh >Plane. 

  20. Press the G KEY.

  21. Hold the Ctrl KEY and move the plane over 2 units. 

  22. Press The A KEY twice so all planes are selected.

  23. Press Shift D.

  24. Hold the Ctrl Key and move the plane. 

  25. Press The A KEY twice so all planes are selected.

  26. Press Shift D.

  27. Hold the Ctrl Key and move the planes. 

  28. Press The A KEY twice so all planes are selected.

  29. Press Shift D.

  30. Hold the Ctrl Key and move the planes. 

  31. Press The A KEY twice so all planes are selected.

  32. Press Shift D.

  33. Hold the Ctrl Key and move the planes.

  34. Press The A KEY twice so all planes are selected.

  35. Press Shift D.

  36. Hold the Ctrl Key and move the planes. 

You are now done with the chess board.
