1. Start Blender

  2. Press the X KEY and then erase.    This gets rid of the cube.

  3. Press NUM 1 this takes you into front view.

  4. Press Spacebar < Add < Mesh < Monkey

  5. Turn off widget mode by clicking the hand. 

  6. Right click on one of the vertices. 

  7. Press the G KEY and move your mouse.

  8. Try this with a couple of other vertices.

  9. Look at your mouse.  Try pressing the scroll wheel down.  You should notice that it is a click.

  10. Now click the scroll wheel and move your mouse.  This rotates your view.

  11. These numbers will rotate your view too.

    1. NUM 1 - Front View

    2. Ctrl NUM 1 - Back View

    3. NUM 3 - Side View

    4. Ctrl NUM 3 - Other Side View

    5. NUM 7 - Top View

    6. Ctrl NUM 7 - Bottom View

  12. Lets add color.

  13. Click on the shading button. 

  14. Click Add New. 

  15. Click on the gray box next to Col. 

  16. Select a color and move your mouse on top of the monkey. 

  17. Lets use face select mode.

  18. Click on face select. 

  19. Click on the button next to face select.

  20. Select a face. 

  21. Grab this face and move it.
