Setting up MLCAD

Before you use MLCAD you need to get it setup to use.  Follow each step so you can use the program correctly.

Open the program by clicking:

When you first start MLCAD you have to set the folder to LDRAW.  Then click Ok.

 

  1. Click View and then toolbars.    Your screen needs to have the same checkmarks as this picture.  If you don't have a checkmark click on the word and then you will.

  2. You need to set your grid to coarse.  Click Settings <Grid <Coarse.  It needs to look like this. 

  3. Next you need to set up the 4 viewing windows.  You set them up by going to each box and right clicking (a middle finger click).  The click View Angle and select the angle.

  4. Here is a picture to show you which each window should be called. 

  5. If you need to move the windows around you can click on the line between the windows and move it.

  6. You need to add scroll bars.  Right click on a window and click scroll bars.

You must call the teacher over before you go to the next lesson.  This assignment is worth some points.
