Toolbars

This will be the basic settings for Microsoft Word Toolbars.

  1. Click View

  2. Place your mouse over Toolbars.  This will show you all the toolbars that are possible. 

  3. If you don't have a checkmark by one of these toolbars click on the word and the checkmark will appear.  The toolbar will appear as well.

  4. Here are the 4 toolbars.

  5. Here is a simple picture of how the toolbars should be laid out on your screen:

  6. There are two ways to move a toolbar.

  7. Find the lines or dots on the left side of the toolbar.  When you place your mouse on the four dots or lines your mouse will turn into 4 pointers.  Click it up and drag it where you want it. 

  8. The other way is to click on the large gray area next to the title of the toolbar.
