Receiving and Sending Picture on the E-Mail
E stands for electronic
L stands for love
C stands Canada Dry

  1. Log into your e-mail.

  2. Go to your inbox.

  3. An e-mail with a picture would like this with a paperclip.

  4. Click the subject of the e-mail.

  5. The picture will show up very small.  This is called a thumbnail.  If we click the thumbnail we will get a larger version of the picture.

  6. I click the picture and I get a message that says no virus detected.

  7. Now click Download File.

  8. Click save so you keep the picture for later.

  9. Look at your Save In box to see where it is going.

  10. This is going to My Documents.  Beverly didn't like putting a picture in My Documents because it is too full.  She saw a folder called My Picture to put it in.  Double click the My Pictures folder.

  11. Now the Save in box says My Pictures.

  12. Click Save to finish saving.

Sending a picture

  1. Log into your e-mail.

  2. Click New > E-Mail message.

  3. Type in the address of who you are sending the message to.

  4. Type in the subject.

  5. Type in the message.

  6. Click attach files.

  7. Click Browse for files.

  8. Now you have to go find your files or pictures that you want to send.    In this example my pictures are located in "My Pictures."  I don't know where you put your files.  You will have to find them.

  9. I added two different files.

  10. Click attach files.

  11. The pictures that I attached show up underneath the subject.

  12. Click Send.
