Moving Parts of a Picture

  1. Go to the website at the top.

  2. Right click on a picture.

  3. Click Copy.

  4. Click Start.

  5. Click Programs.

  6. Click Accessories.

  7. Click Paint.

  8. Click Edit.

  9. Click Paste.

  10. Click on the selecting tool again.

  11.  Now we can click and drag a box around anything we want to move.  It is important to select before you try to move.  Just like with a house you can't move until you select a house first.

  12. Look at my selecting box.

  13. There are two things that your mouse will turn into when working with the selecting box.

    1. If your mouse turns into four pointers that means you can move whatever is in the box.

    2. If you put your mouse onto one of the blue boxes it will turn into two arrows.  That means you can stretch the picture.

  14. Lets say that I take this picture and want it all by itself.

  15. I drag the selection to the top left corner. I still have everything to the right I want to get rid of.

  16. Click the selecting tool again.

  17. Now the blue boxes will end up at the edges of your pictures.
If we put our mouse on the blue boxes we can pull our picture into match the parts of the picture we want to save.

  18. This picture can now be saved and sent off to family.
