Day 2 of Blender

Today you are going to create your 3-D initials and then create a person.

Create Your 3-D Initials

1. Switch Views to Front View.  Click View.  Click Front View. 

2. Go into Edit Mode. 

3. Press the A Key to deselect all the vertices.

4. Press the B Key Twice to get the circle. 

5. Use the Circle selecting tool to select the top vertices of the cube. 

6. Press the E Key to Extrude.

7. Click Region. 

8. Move your mouse up.

9. Left Click when you are done. 

10. Extrude a few more times to get part of the shape of the letter. 

11. Use the B Key again to select vertices on the side. 

12. Extrude to the side.

13. If you want to angle your edge down here is what you do.

    1. After you extrude left click.

    2. Press the G Key.

    3. Move your mouse down.

    4. Left click when you are done moving.

14. Here is my first letter.

Go on to the Simple Person Extrusion.  You don't have to read everything about the simple person.  Concentrate on the pictures and read what is around the pictures.  Click here to begin the person.
