Making a House in Blender

Here is a picture of the house I will be building.

Start by adding a plane.

Press the G - Key and bring the plane on top of the house.
G - Key

Press the Z - Key to make the house see through.

Go to Edit Mode.

Press the S - Key for scale. Resize the cube so it
fits the size of the front of the house. I had to press the G - Key to
move the plane too.

Press the R - Key to rotate the house into position.

Right Click the vertex at the bottom.

Hold shift and right click the other vertex at the bottom.

Press the G - Key and move both vertices down.

Press the E - Key and click edges.

Move your mouse down and click.

Right Click the vertex on the left.

Hold shift and select the vertex above it.

Press the E - Key and click edges.

Move your mouse to the right and click.

Select all the vertices on house by pressing the A - Key
twice.

Press the K - Key for the knife tool. Click Midpoints.

Click and drag a line across the house.

Press Enter to make the cut.

Use the same process to make another cut.

Go to side view. Your house will look different.

Press the E - Key. Click region.

Move your mouse up and click.

Use your middle click and rotate your view so it looks like
mine. 
Right click a vertex where the roof goes up.

Hold shift and right click the rest of the roof that goes
up. 
Click the blue triangle and bring roof up.

To make it sold press the Z - Key.
To check it out go to Object Mode.
