Welcome to my Web site! My name is Mark Rasmussen. I've grown up in Sunny Southern California most of my life. I took a 2 year break to live in New Jersey
while I went on a mission for my church. I married my wife back in 1999 while we were going through college. She graduated with a bachelors degree from Cal Poly Pomona in Agriculture Business. I graduated from Cal State San Bernardino with a degree in Liberal Studies. We are both qualified to raise blooming idiots. (that is one of my grandpa's jokes) We have
3 boys who are a lot of fun. In 2004 I finished my Master Degree in Instructional Technology. My Masters Project was a website about the Battle of Gettysburg. In the year of 2002 I was hired to work at Villegas Middle School as a technology teacher. I've been there ever since. I enjoy working with middle school students and my fellow teachers. I work at a great school.
Beginning with the 2009 - 2010 school year I was given the opportunity to teach
Social Science and Reading Language Arts to sixth graders. In the year of 2005 I began another venture of teaching senior citizens computer literacy. It has been a rewarding experience.
Outside of school I'm involved with the Boy Scouts of America as a Scoutmaster
of Troop 295. I've been a Scoutmaster since 2004. During the summer
of 2007 I competed in my first Triathlon. I enjoyed the experience
although a triathlon cannot be called fun. In the fall of 2008 I took up the
sport of BMX racing with my son. Some of my accomplishments that
